We have already been very excited by our topic “Lights, Camera, Action”. During this topic we will be using animated films from the past and present to explore different ways of making animated films. We began with our journey with a trip to the cinema, but went right back to 1937 and the original Disney animation of Snow White. We will then visit; 1990 with Wallace and Gromit, as well as 2016 sampling the delights, sights, sounds and music of these fantastic films.
Our Day in the woods.
As always we seemed to choose another wet day for our trip to the woods! Despite a little light drizzle we had a fantastic day. The children used natural materials to explore our value of Creativity, and what it means to them. Have a look below to see some of their beautiful art work.
