school council

Our School Council is made up of two children from each class that have been elected at the start of the academic year by their classmates.  The School Council is in place so that pupils have a voice and are involved in decisions about the school that affect them.  In each classroom there is a School Council suggestion box where children can put their thoughts and ideas about the school, these will then be discussed in the next  School Council meeting.   In our School Council meetings all members have the opportunity to raise issues, share ideas and take part in discussions that involves all of us reaching a democratic solution.
